About Lori Hickson, MD

Dr. Lori Hickson, an Internal Medicine physician, has dedicated 25 years to building meaningful patient relationships. Since 2012, she has been serving the community of New Braunfels, Texas, bringing a wealth of expertise and a passion for patient care.

Dr. Hickson earned her medical degree from Chicago Medical School and completed her Internal Medicine Residency Program at Northwestern Medical Center in Chicago. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, she practiced medicine in her hometown and in Newport Beach, California, for a decade before making Texas her home. Relocating with her two children, she and her family have embraced the vibrant community of New Braunfels.

Dr. Hickson takes quality care of her patients by building relationships with them over time. In her new office setting she will continue to offer them a comprehensive and personalized approach to healthcare. She wants to continue to empower patients to be involved and take control of their health. As an internist she specializes in caring for adult patients with complex chronic medical conditions as well as acute issues, post hospital care as well as an emphasis on preventative care.
